Installing update from Samsung

hi all,

I'm new to Android. Just now I saw a system update from sumsung on my galaxy nexus. I proceeded to update. Now I'm only seeing the screen with android robot tummy is open and there is a red exclamation mark for about 20 minutes. Normally how long does it take to complete system update? Is it something wrong with the my update?
