    Issues with Voicemail

I just thought I would give a "heads up" with a problem with this phone to save other people a lot of time and
aggravation. When I try to access any voicemail, for instance my Verizon Voicemail, my work voicemail, a voicemail
system with a hotel, airline, etc. I cannot get through using the touchpad on my phone. I was at the Verizon store for
over an hour today and they were trying to figure it out. After they called in and talked to an advanced Technical
Assistant--I was then informed that this is a problem, that there have been numerous complaints and that Samsung is
working on the problem and will issue a software update. A temporary fix that may work for your phone is
going to Settings and Sound and under system UNCHECK Dial Pad Touch Tones. I cannot tell you the frustration I have had the last couple of days with this problem and i hope I can save someone some time.

Thank you so much for posting this. I purchased my galaxy one day ago and neither Verizon nor Samsung could help me with this problem. Your fix was perfect!

I just use google voice and have my visual voicemail and transcriptions of it for free.
