Charging For The First Time

Hi Everyone. I am newly registered and now own the Galaxy Nexus as of this morning. I have looked for information on "First Time Charging" and came up empty. There are some posts around mentioning a light turning "green" signifying
fully charged. I don't see any lights at all. I powered off the phone. Maybe there are no lights showing when phone is powered off? How do I know when to unplug the phone. Any help on this subject is appreciated.

There are no red or green lights indicating fully charged or not as far as I know.

When the phone is charging (and powered off) an image of a battery appears. It is white and shows progress by the battery being filled. Once it is fully charged, the battery is completely filled with white and has no motion. You are clear for takeoff.


When off, then plugged, then lock button pressed (not held) in you should see:

That means it is beginning charging.

You should then see:

It will animate and fill over and over.

Lastly:

This will display to signify a full charge.

Nice images... if its empty the battery will fill up from the bottom to up top... lol
