    Android version not updating :(

    Hello guys
Ive a problem.... I bought a Galaxy Nexus yesterday....Checked the ICS version and it said 4.0.2.
On System Updates, it checked and found an update..Android 4.0.4
I downloaded it and installed....but after rebooting when I check the version..it still says its 4.0.2..????
I reset my phone back to factory settings and installed the 4.0.4 version again through the System Updates...but it still shows me the same version 4.0.2.
Am I doing smthing wrong or else is smthing wrong with my phone or d update itself???
    Please help me out

    Thanx

Got my notice on my Nexus phone yesterday and click ok and it installed and rebooted. Mine showed the new 4.0.4 as installed in the settings area. Pretty simple, just select ok to install.

A little while back, Apple released the iPhone 4s and along with it came Siri. Siri is described to be a personal assistant on your phone.

The Google foray into the smart phones and tablet's market has given birth to various Android versions. Android is the Google operating system used to run devices on cell phones and tablets. Due to the popularity of Androids, there has been a mad scramble by major telecommunication manufacturers such as Samsung and Motorola to integrate Android updates into their products.

As per your problem concern i like to say you have to first check the version of Ice Cream Sandwich which you have already installed on your Samsung Galaxy Nexus. If it is ICS 4.0.2 than uninstall it and update its new version 4.0.4 from Google play store through your internet connection. After that restart your phone and check its update.

I think you need to go at setting there would be an option name as Software Update. Click On that. After getting update you will restart the mobile. I hope it would works better.
